Traditional employment models often fall short in their ability to offer contract professionals the independence and tax advantages of self-employment. And often don’t offer contractors the benefits that permanent corporate employees receive.
IPS gives highly skilled contractors the freedom and tax advantages of self employment, complete with executive-level corporate benefits. Our independent professionals:
Keep a higher percentage of their earnings (up to 96.1% of his/her billing rate)
Utilize sophisticated back-office technology to manage their own separate and distinct profit centers, maintaining a high degree of financial autonomy at all times
Utilize IPS for payment of salary, insurance, pension, employer taxes, and business expenses - eliminating the hassle of paperwork, increasing flexibility, and leaving more time to work on your billable projects
Have access to the value added benefits and services of a large corporation like profit sharing and 401K matches, pre-tax business expense accounts, tuition reimbursement, child care, pre-tax medical and dental, and affordable insurance at group rates
After signing an agreement, businesses turn over their independent contractors, vendors or both to IPS for background screening (contractors) and compliance checks (vendors)
Vendors and their associated contractors are then classified as compliant or non-compliant and set-up appropriately as IPS W-2 or corp-to-corp employees
IPS provides businesses with a gateway to independent professionals. You negotiate payment rates, and assign them to the master agreement. You manage the projects. It is possible to work with IPS even when you have other staffing alternatives for your independent professionals
All IPS contractors willingly pay us a modest fee that covers all value added services they receive including: administrative services that include issuing invoices and accepting payments, calculating tax and insurance contributions, and transferring funds directly to bank accounts – allowing them to focus on billable projects
IPS manages pre-arranged cut-off dates to ensure prompt receipt of contractor timesheets
Contractor timesheets are sent to IPS who issues your company a consolidated invoice
Once IPS receives your payment, we withhold appropriate fees for taxes, insurance, 401K etc and deposit the balance directly into the contractor’s bank account
