Whether it is invoicing according to your terms, reviewing your contract, saving money to your profit center for vacation, or getting a realistic gauge of billing rates; IPS adapts to your needs. Your personal assistant is on call daily from 9 to 5 EST, your billing and payments are monitored daily, payroll is accuratly calculated, expenses reviewed, taxes paid, and your benefit plans administered. Your personal assistant will be your day to day contact and will maintain your account according to your specifications. IPS is not a formula based company, we will adapt to your needs! As a member you get access to the following:
Simply send your timesheet to your Personal Assistant and we will take care of the rest. We will create an invoice for your hours worked and send it off to the Client according to the terms outlined in your contract or your specifications. Collection of payment is rarely an issue at IPS. We have established contracts with many vendors. As a result of these relationships payment terms are clearly defined and expected on a timely basis. In the event that a payment is late, your Personal Assistant is on the case, tracking down the payment to get it into your hands as quickly as possible.
As independents we understand the importance of a paycheck! At IPS you can set up a payroll schedule best suited to your needs whether you prefer a biweekly payroll or a monthly payroll. You can also reserve funds in your profit center for upcoming vacations or down time. Just give your personal assistant a call and we will follow your instructions.
All payrolls are transmitted electronically to your bank account. In the event of a cash emergency we can also wire your funds to your bank account the same day you request it.Independent Professional Services is responsible for reporting and paying all payroll taxes and insurance (disability, workmen’s compensation) to the Federal and State Agencies for all members. As a result you are freed from the arduous tasks of establishing relationships with state tax entities, reporting requirements and payments.
Federal taxes such as Social Security, Medicare, and withholding tax, are transmitted to the IRS on a weekly basis. State withholding taxes are paid according to the terms of the individual state.
All payments are monitored weekly, with Internal and external audits performed biannually.
IPS has fourteen years of experience in reviewing and modifying contracts for independent professionals. Once you find an assignment, the Client forwards the contract to IPS' Contract Administration. Our Contract Administrator will contact you and make you aware of any potential problems. IPS will also address any concerns or questions you may have regarding your contract. We will go to bat for you and get you the best contract terms possible.
